Technology Radar – Future Technology Mapping Platform

The Technology Radar is a standalone web platform integrated into the mobile application via WebView, designed to visualize emerging and future-facing technologies. It maps technological signals identified through ongoing research and expert analysis, transforming abstract insights into a navigable and comparative landscape that supports long-term thinking and informed strategic exploration.

This Radar is architecturally aligned with the Trend Radar and reuses its core interaction patterns, rating system, and SVG-based visualization engine, while extending the model to handle greater structural complexity. Each technology is categorized by both a primary domain and a secondary classification, resulting in a two-layer radial visualization where items are positioned across concentric logical groups.

Implementing this layered approach required adapting the underlying data model and rendering logic to support nested categories while preserving performance and interaction clarity. The result is a scalable visualization system capable of representing complex technology landscapes without sacrificing usability or responsiveness.
